The Nintendo 64 (N64) is a video gaming home console, developed and released by Nintendo. It was originally released in Japan in June 1996 and in the USA in September 1996.[1][2][3] In March 1997, it was released in Australasia and several European countries.

Working titles for the console were Project Reality and Ultra 64.

The console was discontinued on 30 April 2002.[4]
